Thomas & Meagan {Wedding Film} :: Married at Bulter Chapel :: NC Wedding Videographer/NC Wedding

Butler Chapel is a beautiful chapel in the center of the Buies Creek, NC campus of Campbell University. The chapel is named in memory of husband and wife Anna Gardner Butler and Robert B. Butler. With Thomas and Meagan both being graduates of the Divinity school at Campbell and the chapel being the site of Thomas's proposal it was only fitting that they exchanged vows in front of their family and friends in the chapel as well. After their ceremony they headed down to Benson to the Preston Woodall House for an afternoon filled with fellowship and of course dancing.

Here is their short film, for you to experience the beauty of their day through our offerings of luxury cinematography. We appreciate that Thomas and Meagan chose us at AO&JO Photography & Videography to create their wedding film for them.

From Meagan & Thomas...

"We chose Butler Chapel at Campbell University because we had met each other at Campbell University Divinity School. In the chapel, we had shared in worship services together before we dated and while we dated. It was and is a significant spot in our relationship. We chose Preston Woodall House because we were impressed with the house and the décor of the location. We fell in love with the ballroom and thought it was the perfect place to celebrate with our friends and family.

Our officiate is one of our best friends. Thomas and I could not decide whose side he was gong to stand on so we decided to ask him to be our officiate. He added a personal touch to the ceremony that we really wanted. Thomas' brother and girlfriend sang the hymn "Be Thou My Vision" during the ceremony. This was such a beautiful moment and a moment that most of our guest cherished. What made the ceremony so special so us was saying "I do" in front of our family and friends.

Our favorite part of the reception were the dances. Our first dance was very special to us. The father-daughter dance was also very special. My dad and I have always enjoyed having conversations about American History especially the Civil War Era. Dad does Civil War reenactments so we decided that he would dress in his Civil War uniform and we would dance to a song from the 1860's. This was special because it incorporated a special aspect of our relationship. Thomas and Luann did the North Carolina Shag. When Thomas was a teenager he would take shag lessons with his mom. This dance was special because it allowed them to reflect on all the times that they danced together in the past.

When Thomas and I first started to date, we would always go to a coffee shop and drink tea together. We decided to incorporate this into our favors. We gave tea bags to all of our guests to reflect our love for tea but also to symbolize one of the things that brought us together in the beginning of our relationship."
